From FUSION'98 to FUSION'99
Conference Theme: Information Fusion for the 21st Century Decisions™

FUSION'98 was successfully held in Las Vegas of USA in July 6 - 9 with over 160 attendees from industry, academia and government from more than 20 countries. As a sequal, FUSION'99 will be held between July 6 - 8, 1999 at Sunnyvale Hilton Inn, in the heart of Silicon Valley - San Francisco area, California, USA. As described in the conference Call for Papers, all aspects of sensor data and information fusion techniques and systems are included in the Technical Program of FUSION'99. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, or selected to appear in a special issue of an international journal. The conference also offers keynote speeches and plenary talks by invited people. Commercial exhibits will showcase latest products by vendors.

Continuing the theme of FUSION'98, FUSION'99 technical programs cover three major areas:
1. Architectures (all system issues);
2. Algorithms (design, development, SW/HW implementations);
3. Applications (across all domains: defense, civilian, robotics, commercial, medical, business, finance, political economy, social & environmental science, etc.)
