Paper Awards

Fusion 2013 is featuring a program to select the best technical paper and the best student paper, as determined by the Fusion 2013 Awards Committee.

The best regular paper will receive the `Jean-Pierre Le Cadre Award for Best Paper`. Awards for first and second runners-up will also be made.  Cash prizes accompany all three awards.

Best student paper* program aims to encourage the involvement of young researchers and scientists in information fusion. The best student paper and two runners up, as judged by the Awards Committee, will be awarded cash prizes and travel grants in honor of Tammy L. Blair. Travel grants may be used to cover travel expenses for the student author to attend the Fusion conference. These grants strictly do not cover Fusion conference registration costs. Student authors of student-paper-award papers are required to attend the conference.

Winners and runners up of the best technical and best student paper programs will be announced at the Gala Dinner and subsequently posted on the Conference website.

*A student paper is one whose first author is a full time student.
